Craft Market

Yesterday, Louisa, Laura and I went to the first of Fifi's Craft Markets in Sheffield to run a stall and raise a bit of money to help us through our time at uni.

Unfortunately the market wasn't too successful. Despite the fantastic range of stands and the variety of items on offer there wasn't enough foot fall to make the time spent worth it. There just didn't seem to have been enough publicity of the fair and in the afternoon Laura and I ended up going out with fliers which seemed to improve the situation. It was a shame as Fiona seemed really nice but unfortunately I think an opportunity was missed. May it be a lesson learnt for next time.

Anyhow, for me it was relatively easy to get stuff together for the fair as I have a few things left over from the last fair I did and I took the stock from my Etsy shop. For Louisa and Laura though they made lots of new things and will be updating their own Etsy shops over the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled.

Louisa is online at: and

We are now thinking of setting up our own craft fair so watch this space...

On the uni side of things, not much progress this week but I am experimenting with some unusual 'yarn' with some interesting results and doing some large drawings to inspire my samples.

Best wishes...x
